Guess My Nickname?

Origin for nicknames. Have you ever wonder why Peggy is a nickname for Margaret and Bill for William? There is an explanation on how the nicknames started. I have seen a more detailed site with more deep explanation, unfortunately I cannot find that site. I still hope to find that site. There was a really good information. But Wikipedia has part of the explanation that I was looking for under "Nicknames for People" The most unusual nickname that I find amusing is "Dick".... Even famous actors use it. The first two links below explain the origin of the nickname.
