The Top 50 Scary Movie of All Time

An article from Boston.com (I think this site is part of Boston Globe). Nice compilations, although I disagree with some of their choices. I mean, why did Willy Wonka made the list?? Because of some orange creatures? Nightmare on Elm Street is in 32nd place and War of the World (1953) is on 22nd place?

Topher's Cereal Guide

Topher's Breakfast Cereal Character Guide. When I visit it a few years ago, there wasn't much info about cereal on the net as now. This site is still one of top sites for info about cereal (well, in my opinion anyway) beides the Tick Tock Toy site (which I've post already). They do have all kind of informations. For example, there is a section for fictional cereals.

TV Cream

A British site about TV and pop culture in Britain. I just noticed that they keep changing their logo (keep refreshing the page it to see it changing). It's interesting to see how their Saturday Morning TV shows are different than the US. There is also a section about teen magazines and a whole bunch of other nostalgic stuff unique to Britain.

National Toy Hall of Fame

It's a really nice museum. I visited it long time ago. If you are in Rochester, NY, I recommend you to check out the Strong Museum. They have other exhibitions besides the toys. The toy exhibition is pretty cool and informative. They have pictures of the toys early versions, such as the Silly Putty and the Crayola. The Crayola actually went through quite a transformation since their introduction in 1903. Wow they are that old!

Ah, 5 more days till Halloween..

An article from Entertainment Weekly called "I Will Survive : 13 Lessons From Watching Scary Movies". The title pretty much speaks for itself, accompanies with a movie picture for each "lesson".

Jason Liebig has some several nice sets of vintage stickers. These are some ostalgic sets. I don't recognize any of these stickers, I didn't even know there were so many out there. There are even the Life Saver's sticker. It's the first time I hear of it.

Carnival Festival

A Dutch site site from "Carnaval Festival". I don't speak Dutch, but you can read about it in Wikipedia. According to it "It's a dark ride in amusement park Efteling in the Netherland. It was designed by Joop Geesink and opened its doors in 1984" Click on "Vroeger en nu" to see the pictures. It is sure looks similar in a way to "It's a Small World" in Disneyland.

From Wikipedia. If you do not know Dutch, I recommend you to read the info in Wikipedia. It's hard to understand what's going on just by looking at the Carniaval's site.

You can take a cyber trip to the Carnaval Fesival in YouTube. There are several videos. Most of them were blurred or made me dizzy. These were the best that I could find

Feisty Cars

Cars that were "refurbished" and "customized" by art car artists. Plenty of cool and strange pictures. The coolest cars are under "Art Car Index". I wonder if they drive these things in a rainy day. You'd need a farm for to park some of these. There are cool ones, but not sure I'd want to drive around with an artistic car. Too much attention... But heck, nobody gonna steal a car like that! I wonder, why would anyone take a car that is relatively new, and transform it to an art car? I used to think only old or junk cars were like this. Some of them are even classic. Evidently, I was wrong.

Watcha' Gonna Do?

A NYC old police cars gallery from PDNYC site. These are pictures of very old cars and motorcycles that you see in old movies like American Graffiti. I wish I could see those cars in person. I like the ones from 1939.

Halloween Dogs

I am into dressing up the dogs. I've seen some of these pictures around before, but I have to admit, some of these dogs did make me chuckle again. The chihuahua vampire in particular cracked me up.
